BATON ROUGE — The LSU Alumni Association will offer a “Traveling Tigers” package for the 2001 Southeastern Conference Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 8, when the Tigers take on No. 2-ranked Tennessee for the outright title and a trip to a BCS Bowl.
The “Traveling Tigers” package — which costs $625 for double occupancy and $745 for single occupancy — includes round-trip air charter that leaves Baton Rouge at noon on Friday, Dec. 7, and departs from Atlanta on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. It also includes a ticket to the SEC Championship game (deduct $45 if you have already purchased a ticket), two nights at the Hyatt Regency Downtown in Atlanta, round-trip bus transportation and a two-day MARTA pass in Atlanta.
