BATON ROUGE — LSU will offer discounted tickets to the Arkansas game on Friday, Nov. 23 to members of the military, law enforcement agencies, firefighters, EMS as well as LSU System students, faculty and staff, director of athletics Skip Bertman announced on Wednesday.
LSU will face the Razorbacks at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23 in Tiger Stadium in a game televised nationally by CBS.
“After all that our country has been through, and with all that our military, fire and rescue personnel have contributed, we wanted to offer these groups the chance to enjoy the LSU game day experience with their families,” Bertman said.
With a valid ID, any United States Military personnel and family members can purchase tickets to the Arkansas game for $15.
In addition, police, fire department and EMS personnel can purchase tickets to the game for $15. LSU is also offering the discount tickets to LSU System students, faculty and staff members.
LSU will also offer a family group plan for any person that buys a minimum of eight tickets. The cost of the family group plan is $15 per ticket.
“With families getting together for the Thanksgiving holiday, we hope that they will join us in Tiger Stadium for this exciting SEC contest,” Bertman said.
The discounted tickets are a result of Arkansas taking only 2,500 of its allotted 7,000 tickets for the game. The discounted tickets are available in both upper decks as well as the North and South endzones.
Tickets must be purchased in person at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office.
Ticket office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day this week. For more information, contact the LSU Athletic Ticket Office at (225) 578-2184.
