Hampton Leads Tigers to 3-0 Victory Over Auburn

Volleyball Falls to Sixth in South Region

BATON ROUGE — The LSU volleyball team dropped two spots to sixth in the latest edition of the NCAA South Region rankings, it was announced Monday.

The Tigers, who have dropped two straight matches, fell from a season-high ranking of fourth to its current position. Alabama and Western Kentucky leapfrogged LSU into fourth and fifth, respectively.

Florida remained on top while Arkansas and South Carolina rounded out the top three. Tennessee, in eighth, and Kentucky, in 10th, also represented the Southeastern Conference in the ranking.

The Tigers return to action against the Lady?Backs twice this weekend, on Friday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. Friday?s match is senior night at LSU while Sunday?s, which has been moved up from a 2 p.m. start, is senior day at Arkansas.
