BATON ROUGE — The sixth-annual LSU Halloween Boo-Zar, a trick-or-treat night for kids featuring LSU athletes from all sports, will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the LSU Field House.
Baton Rouge area families are invited to the LSU Field House to enjoy a safe night of Halloween fun with their favorite LSU athletes. Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Last year, more than 500 children and 100 LSU student-athletes participated in the Boo-Zar.
The annual LSU Halloween Boo-Zar is sponsored by the CHAMPS program in the LSU Athletic Department. CHAMPS is an acronym for Challenging Athletes Minds for Personal Success. It’s a program that includes community service projects that is organized and participated in by the student-athletes.
The Halloween Boo-Zar is free and it’s open to the public.
The Boo-Zar also kicks off CHAMPS’ Thanksgiving Food Drive. Families attending the Boo-Zar next week are asked to donate canned goods.
