BATON ROUGE — The LSU softball team will host its annual Fall Collegiate Classic tournament this weekend at the Lady Tiger softball park. Six teams, including 2001 College World Series participant LSU, will take part in the two-day tournament.
The teams participating in the tournament include LSU, the three-time defending Southeastern Conference champion, Southeastern Louisiana, Nicholls State, William Carey, Bossier Parish Community College and Okaloosa-Walton Community College.
Games begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday as Bossier Parish Community College takes on William Carey. There are eight games scheduled throughout the day. Action begins at 9 a.m. on Sunday with four game scheduled to conclude the tournament.
On Saturday, LSU plays Okaloosa-Walton Community College in its first game at 11 a.m. before taking on Southeastern Louisiana at 2:30 p.m. and Bossier Parish Community College at 6 p.m. LSU will face William Carey at 10:45 a.m. and Nicholls State at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday.
