BATON ROUGE — LSU continued its preparations for second-ranked Florida with a two-hour practice sessions here Wednesday at the LSU Practice Facility.
The 18th-ranked Tigers enter Saturdays contest with a 2-1 overall mark and a 0-1 Southeastern Conference record. Florida is 4-0 overall and 2-0 in league play.
The Tigers will work out again on Thursday followed by a walk-thru in Tiger Stadium on Friday. Saturday’s contest has a 2:30 p.m. start and will be televised to a national audience on CBS.
“Everything is going pretty well in practice this week,” LSU coach Nick Saban said. “I’ve been pleased with the way the players have bounced back attitude wise in terms of the disappoint that you have when you put a lot in a game, play aggressive and play hard, and lose a football game.
“We have a big challenge this weekend with Florida. Obviously it’s a different type of preparation in terms of what Florida does. We really have had a good week of work and I’m pleased with the way the players have worked.”
