LSU shot a 7-over 295 in round two to fall to ninth place. Junior Garrett Prather led the way for LSU in round one, shooting a 2-under 70. Junior John Humphries and true freshman Heath West each shot 1-under 71’s Monday. West, a Dothan, Ala., native made his collegiate debut for LSU on Monday. Senior Nathan Goulding shot a 2-over 74.

“We played really sloppy in the afternoon, we shot some big numbers”, said head coach Greg Jones.
“We were way under par about halfway through the first round, like maybe 10-under or so. The par-five’s killed us later in the day, but for the most part the guys played pretty good.”
LSU will tee off at 7:25 a.m. Tuesday for their final round.
“Our mistakes are correctable, I just want us to play consistent golf and shoot some low scores”, said Jones.
