BATON ROUGE — LSU’s annual football fan day is set for Sunday, Aug. 12, in Tiger Stadium. Gates to Tiger Stadium will open at 1:45 p.m. and LSU will hold an open practice for fans starting at 2:30.

Tiger fans will be able to meet and get autographs from players and coaches starting at 4:45 p.m. LSU football posters and schedule cards will distributed to fans as they enter the stadium.

Also on that day, the LSU Hall of Fame Museum and the LSU Athletic Ticket Office will be open on the first floor of the LSU Athletic Administration Building beginning at 1p.m. Season tickets will be on sale at that time. 

Fan day activities will conclude at 5:30 p.m.

The LSU volleyball and women’s soccer teams will also be on hand passing out schedule cards and ticket information.

Outside Tiger Stadium, EATEL will sponsor the Fan Interactive Village from noon to 4 p.m. Games include the goal-line challenge, LSU football game show mania and the football toss. Prizes will be awarded to participants of the games and 2001 LSU football magnets will also be available. The Fan Interactive Village will be located outside the south endzone of Tiger Stadium.

Other sponsors at the event include Coca-Cola, Abita Springs Water Company and Ochsner.
