Auburn, Arkansas Football Games Moved For TV

BATON ROUGE — Two LSU football games for the upcoming season have been moved to accommodate television, the Southeastern Conference announced on Wednesday.

LSU’s game against Auburn on Sept. 15 in Tiger Stadium will be televised by ESPN2 and will start at 8 p.m. The contest was originally slated for a 7 p.m. start time. The Auburn contest will mark the first meeting between the teams on ESPN2. The LSU-Auburn game has been televised by ESPN for the past five years.

In addition, LSU’s season finale against Arkansas in Tiger Stadium has been moved to Friday, Nov. 23, and will be televised to a national audience on CBS. The kickoff for the Arkansas game will be 1:30 p.m.

The LSU-Arkansas game was originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 24.

The move marks the sixth straight year in which the Tigers will close out their regular season on CBS on a Friday against Arkansas.
