BATON ROUGE – LSU golfers Katy Harris and Lesley McClurg were selected Monday to the Verizon Academic All-District VI Women’s Spring At-Large Team announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Harris was selected to the first team in District 6 based on academic and athletic performance, while McClurg was selected to the second team. Harris, the leader in strong average and the 11th ranked golfer in the nation, recently graduated from LSU with a 3.74 GPA in Business, while
McClurg (also a Senior), graduated this past week with a 3.97 GPA in advertising.
As an all-district first-teamer, Harris’ name will be submitted to the national ballot for the Verizon national team.
