BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — LSU football, baseball and softball will highlight the weekend’s schedule of televised events on College Sports Southeast.
Beginning with LSU’s softball game against New Mexico State and continuing with a weekend baseball series at Alabama and the annual LSU Spring Football Game, College Sports Southeast will carry wall-to-wall coverage of Tiger sports.
CSSE will show on a tape delayed basis the LSU vs. New Mexico State softball game to be played Thursday in Baton Rouge. The game will air on the network on Friday at 2 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Central time. Doug Greengard will describe the action and Jordy Hultberg will provide color analysis.
CSSE will have live coverage of the Friday and Sunday games of the LSU-Alabama baseball series in Tuscaloosa. Friday’s game will start at 7 p.m. with Sunday’s game slated for 1 p.m. CSSE will also have sameday coverage of Saturday’s LSU-Alabama baseball game with a tape delayed telecast at 10 p.m. Saturday. Barry McKnight will serve as play-by-play announcer for all three games with Kevin Hays and Kevin Henslee splitting analysis duties.
LSU’s Spring Football Game will be televised for the first time by College Sports Southeast. The game will be played in Tiger Stadium on Saturday afternoon and will air on CSSE at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Sunday, and also at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 30, and 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 3. Jordy Hultberg will describe the action for CSSE.
The weekend of LSU coverage also includes the airing of LSU Centennial specials that were produced in 1993, the Tigers’ 100th season of football. “Golden Moments,” highlighting the greatest games in school history, will air Sunday at 8 p.m., and “Golden Tigers,” featuring the greatest players in LSU history, will air Sunday at 11 p.m.
College Sports Southeast is a cable television and interactive web network totally dedicated to college sports in the Southeast. The network covers a nine-state area including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee.
