BATON ROUGE — Trey Langley, who started the first two games of the 2000 season for LSU before suffering a season-ending knee injury, has signed a free agent contract with the Washington Redskins.
Langley, a native of Eunice, La., missed LSU’s final 10 games last year after tearing both the anterior cruciate ligament and the medial collateral ligament in the Tigers’ 28-13 win over Houston on Sept. 9 in Baton Rouge.
For his LSU career, Langley started a total of 21 games, including eight as a redshirt freshman in 1997. In 1997, Langley was a member of the Sporting News Freshman All-America team as well as a selection on the Knoxville-News Sentinel Freshman All-SEC team.
