BATON ROUGE — The starting time of Sunday’s LSU-Vanderbilt baseball game has been moved to noon CDT. The game was originally scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., however, the time change was made to accommodate Vanderbilt’s travel plans.
Game 1 of the LSU-Vanderbilt series starts at 7 p.m. Friday, Game 2 begins at 4 p.m. Saturday, and Game 3 now has a 12 p.m. first pitch on Sunday.
LSU will enter the weekend series with a one-game lead in the SEC standings. The Tigers are in first place with a 12-6 mark, followed by Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Tennessee (all 11-7).
Vanderbilt enters Friday’s contest with a 6-12 league record.
