AUBURN, Ala. — The 20th ranked LSU men’s golf team will participate in the 2001 Billy Hitchcock Intercollegiate beginning Friday in Auburn.
The Tigers will play a practice round Friday beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Saugahatchee Country Club. They will play 36 holes Saturday and the final 18 Sunday. The teams will tee off at 8:00 a.m. both days.
The field includes 12 teams, including six teams from the Southeastern Conference. Auburn will host the event. Auburn won the 2000 event, while Alex Rocha of Mississippi State took medalist honors.
The Tigers look to win their fourth tournament of the season this weekend.
This is the last tournament before the SEC Championships April 19-22 in Sea Island, Ga.
