BATON ROUGE — Due to heavy thunderstorms passing through Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas, the 2001 LSU Purple and Gold Challenge has been delayed until 6 p.m. on Friday evening.
Game one of the tournament between Houston and Southern Miss will resume in the third inning at 6 p.m. Southern Miss leads Houston 2-1. The Tigers will face Houston at 8 p.m. on Friday.
Following is a tenative schedule for the weekend; however, it is subject to change due to the weather, field conditions or team travel schedules.
