LSU, which lost to Florida on Thursday before beating South Carolina on Sunday, dropped to its lowest ranking of the year in the coaches poll. It is the Lady Tigers lowest ranking in the AP poll since Dec. 11.
Tennessee, Notre Dame and Connecticut remained the top three teams in both polls while Duke reclaimed the No. 4 spot it occupied for much of the year.
Georgia, last week’s No. 4 team, lost to Vanderbilt on Sunday and dropped to fifth in the coaches poll and sixth in the AP poll. Louisiana Tech mirrored the Lady Bulldogs as it was sixth in the ESPN poll and fifth according to the media.
In the coaches poll, Purdue, Oklahoma, Iowa State and Florida rounded out the top 10. Vanderbilt jumped up to 15th and was the fourth team representing the SEC.
The order in the AP top 10 was slightly different as Oklahoma, Purdue, Rutgers and Iowa State were seventh through 10th, respectively.
