BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s basketball game against Florida on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at the Maravich Assembly Center has been dubbed “Mardi Gras Madness” and all fans are encouraged to show up in their Mardi Gras attire.
Upper level tickets, normally priced at $10, will be reduced to $5 for the game against the 11th-ranked Gators. To receive the $5 price for the upper-level seat, fans must purchase at least two tickets.
Tickets for the 6 p.m. contest are available at the LSU ticket office or they can also be purchased by calling (225) 578-2184 or by visiting www.LSUsports.net. The game will be nationally televised by ESPN as part of the networks Super Tuesday basketball lineup.
Tickets will also be on sale at Serrano’s on Monday night at the John Brady radio show. The show airs from 7 to 8 p.m. on Eagle 98.1 in Baton Rouge.
LSU students are encouraged to attend Monday night’s show and to stick around after the show for a special chat session with Brady at Serrano’s. Other highlights of the LSU-Florida game include the Bank One “Student Mutual Fund Shootout” in which two LSU students will compete for $250 in mutual funds courtesy of Bank One at a timeout during the contest. Bank One will also sponsor a special halftime act, “The Balancing Brothers”, an act that has appeared on the television show Ripley’s Believe it or Not!
