FARMERS BRANCH, Texas — LSU’s Ajay Ramaswami lost to West Florida’s Radovan Chrz in the first round of the consolation draw of the Rolex Intercollegiate National Championships on Friday afternoon, 6-1, 6-3.
Ramaswami, ranked eighth in the nation by the ITA, lost in the first round of the main draw to the tournament’s second seed in three sets on Thursday.
LSU returns to action as a team on Feb. 7 when it faces Louisiana-Monroe at 2 p.m. in the W.T. “Dub” Robinson Tennis Stadium on the campus of LSU.
