BATON ROUGE — Building on an event that proved to be extremely popular in the LSU football team’s last visit to the Peach Bowl in 1996, head coach Nick Saban will take part in pre-Peach Bowl television and radio shows live from Atlanta in the days leading up to the Tigers’ 32nd bowl appearance.
On Dec. 27 from 6-7 p.m. CST (7-8 p.m. EST for those on hand in Atlanta), the LSU Sports Network will air the Special Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Edition of Tiger Sportsline with Nick Saban, a radio program airing live from the Regency Ballroom at the Hyatt in downtown Atlanta.
On Dec. 28 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. CST (7:30-8:30 p.m. EST for those on hand in Atlanta), Eye of the Tiger Live From the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl with Nick Saban, a live one-hour television program will take place, again in the Regency Ballroom at the Hyatt.
The program will air live in several markets in Louisiana while also being available on a tape-delayed basis in a number of areas.
Both events will be open to fans and alumni on hand in Atlanta to attend the Peach Bowl and admission is free to both events.
Fans will have an opportunity to win giveaways on both nights and meet LSU players who will be on hand for Saban’s television show on Dec. 28.
LSU faces Georgia Tech in the Peach Bowl at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on Dec. 29 at 4 p.m. CT.
