BATON ROUGE — LSU sold another 5,000 tickets for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Wednesday and the number of tickets sold to LSU fans now stands at 15,197, according to ticket manager Brian Broussard.
LSU sold over 10,000 tickets to the December 29 game on Tuesday, the first day in which the tickets went on sale to season-ticket holders. LSU will face 15th-ranked Georgia Tech at 4 p.m. CT on Friday, Dec. 29 in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
LSU students will get their first opportunity to buy Peach Bowl tickets on Thursday. Tickets will remain on sale to season ticket holders until next Tuesday at 5 p.m. After that, any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public.
Tickets for the contest are $50 and they can be purchased by using cash, check, money order or by using Visa or MasterCard. Tickets can be purchased in person at the LSU ticket office or on the internet at www.LSUsports.net. Phone orders can be taken by calling (225) 388-2184 or (800) 960-8587.
