This will be the final match-up at Tiger Stadium between the two teams on a permanant basis. After the 2001 season, Kentucky and LSU will no longer be on each other’s schedule every each, rather each will enter the SEC’s East-West rotation.
Kickoff for LSU’s fifth home game of the season is at 7 p.m. Although the game will be available on a pay-per-view basis in Kentucky, it is against SEC rules for the anyone outside the state to receive the broadcast without permission from the University of Kentucky.
LSU begins a three-game homestand which will determine its fate for the rest of the season. After Kentucky, LSU faces Mississippi State and Alabama in Tiger Stadium before traveling to Ole Miss and Arkansas to end the season.
Kentucky has lost three consecutive games and all three of its road contests in the 2000 season.
Last year in Lexington, the Wildcats dominated a lackluster Tiger team, 31-5.
