BATON ROUGE — The Oct. 21 football game between LSU and Mississippi State will be televised by ESPN2, Baton Rouge cable channel 57, at 8 p.m. CDT, the network announced on Monday.
This marks the sixth-straight season that the Tigers and Bulldogs will be televised and the first time that LSU has played on “The Deuce” since playing Kentucky in 1998.
LSU and Mississippi State played on ESPN2 at 5 p.m. in 1998 and 1999 after playing on ESPN in 1997 and Jefferson-Pilot in 1995 and 1996.
The Mississippi State game is the fifth of the 2000 season to be picked up for television. LSU’s games against Auburn, Tennessee, Florida and Arkansas were also selected for broadcast.
