Langley Out For the Season With Torn ACL

BATON ROUGE — LSU senior offensive tackle Trey Langley will miss the remainder of the 2000 football season after tearing both the anterior cruciate ligament and the medial collateral ligament in his right knee against Houston on Saturday, LSU Director of Athletic Training Jack Marucci said on Monday.

Marucci said Langley would have surgery to repair the knee in a couple of weeks.

In four seasons with the Tigers, Langley started a total of 21 games, including eight as a redshirt freshman in 1997. That season, Langley was named Freshman All-America by the Sporting News and he was a member of the Knoxville News Sentinel Freshman All-SEC team.
