BATON ROUGE — LSU senior fullback Michael Lillie will be sidelined 4-6 weeks after breaking a bone in his left foot in practice on Tuesday.
Lillie, who broke the fifth metatarsal in his left foot, underwent successful surgery on Wednesday morning. Lillie injured his foot in a non-contact drill.
Last year as a junior, Lillie played in all 11 games for the Tigers and he started the season-finale against Arkansas at F-back.
Lillie, who transferred to LSU from Georgia Tech prior to the 1998 season, is a native of River Ridge, La., and he prepped at John Curtis High School.
