BATON ROUGE, La. — The second game of the LSU-UCLA Super Regional series on Saturday has been moved to a 3 p.m. first pitch.
The game, originally scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., was moved one hour earlier to accommodate the Guaranty Sports Network, which will telecast all of the Super Regional games on a statewide basis.
GSN was granted permission to televise the games Thursday morning after all Super Regional ticket books were sold out.
Game 1 of the Super Regional begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Game 2 will start at 3 p.m. Saturday and Game 3, if necessary, will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday.
The Super Regional winner advances to the College World Series, June 9-17, in Omaha, Neb.
