BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s basketball team, off one of the most successful seasons in school history, will hold its annual team banquet on Monday, April 10, at 6:30 p.m. at the Lod Cook Alumni Center on the LSU campus.
Tickets for the event, sponsored by LSU’s Sixth Man Club, can be purchased individually for $15 or tickets are $25 per couple. Reservations can be made by calling the LSU men’s basketball office at 225 388-8217.
Awards will be presented in several categories to the players, including league and national honors, as well as several awards chosen by the LSU coaching staff. LSU senior Jabari Smith will be honored and a highlight tape of the season will be shown.
The Tigers were 28-6 this past season, the second most wins in school history. LSU won its first ever SEC Western Division title, won the SEC regular season overall championship for the first time since 1991 and advanced to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1987.
