BATON ROUGE, La. — LSU has added a game with Southern University to its baseball schedule. The game will be played at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, in Alex Box Stadium. Also, should the men’s basketball team play in the Elite Eight Saturday afternoon, the second game of the South Carolina series would be moved to 7 p.m. rather than 4 p.m.
The addition was made to the Tigers’ schedule since their game with Vanderbilt was rained out in Nashville last Sunday. The LSU-Vanderbilt game cannot be made up, so LSU is allowed to schedule another game against a non-conference team.
The LSU-Southern game is not a part of the LSU season ticket package. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults and $3 for children, and all seating will be general admission.
Tickets are on sale at the LSU athletic ticket office, located on the first floor of the athletic administration building. The ticket office is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and the phone number is (225) 388-2184.
