BATON ROUGE, La. — A limited number of tickets for the April 19 LSU-Tulane baseball game at Zephyr Field will go on sale at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the LSU athletic ticket office.
Tickets are $10, and they may be purchased by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. Tickets may
be ordered over the phone by calling (225) 388-2184, or they may be purchased in person at the
LSU ticket office, located on the first floor of the athletic administration building.
The LSU athletic ticket office is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
BATON ROUGE, La. — The starting time of Sunday’s LSU-South Carolina baseball game in Alex Box Stadium has been changed to 12:30 p.m. The game, originally scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., was moved 30 minutes earlier to insure the entire contest could be played before South Carolina has to depart for the Baton Rouge airport.
The Gamecocks’ flight on Sunday leaves at 5:40 p.m., so a 12:30 p.m. start should allow enough
time for the teams to play the full nine innings.
On April 6, 1997, Game 3 of the LSU-South Carolina series was stopped after only 6.5 innings
due to the Gamecocks’ travel plans. The Tigers won that contest, 11-10.
LSU and South Carolina begin their three-game SEC series at 7 p.m Friday. Game 2 will be
played at 4 p.m. Saturday, and the series finale is now set for 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
