BATON ROUGE — The “Sold Out” sign has gone back on the door of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center for Saturday’s 4 p.m. men’s basketball game with Mississippi State.
The sell out is the fifth of the season of the men’s basketball season at the Assembly Center as announced late Thursday afternoon by the LSU Athletic Ticket Office.
A total of 1,500 tickets are left for the final home game of the 2000 season, March 4, against Ole Miss. The game time for that game is set for 7 p.m., but the game is one of two SEC games under consideration by JP Sports to be used as the one wild-card telecast the syndicated network is allowed on the final weekend of the regular season. The official game time for that game is to be announced on Monday.
Season ticket holders for Saturday’s game are also reminded that the correct starting time for the Mississippi State game is 4 p.m. and the game will be televised by SEC-TV on Fox Sports Net (Cable Channel 26 in Baton Rouge). The game time on the season tickets was listed at 7 p.m. prior to the game time change for television.
