BATON ROUGE — LSU quarterback Rohan Davey suffered a knee injury during the past weekend that will prevent him from participating in spring football.

Davey has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, detected by an MRI performed by Dr. Brent Bankston, an LSU team physician.

Bankston said Davey would undergo surgery in the next two weeks. If surgery is successful, Davey will likely be able to participate in football in the fall.
