BATON ROUGE — The No. 2 ranked LSU men’s tennis team opens the spring season at home on Saturday with a double header against Southern and Centenary.
A change of times has been made for the matches due to inclement weather in Shreveport that has affected Centenary’s travel plans.
LSU will face Southern at 10 a.m. with the match against Centenary now scheduled for Noon.
“This is a good way for us to open the season. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to play a lot of people and gain experience,” said LSU head coach Jeff Brown.
LSU has never lost to either of its Saturday opponents, going 11-0 against Centenary and 5-0 against Southern all time.
Following Saturday’s double header, LSU will face New Orleans on Sunday at 1 p.m. at “Dub” Robinson Stadium.
