BATON ROUGE – – LSU women’s tennis coach, Tony Minnis, was nominated and has accepted a position on the ITA operating committee regarding NCAA rules and regulations. He is only one of seven coaches from around the country to be honored with a position on the committee.
Minnis is the first LSU coach to hold such a position for the NCAA rules and regulations committee. The group of seven coaches meet annually in mid-December to discuss policies and changes to the rules of the ITA which governs NCAA tennis.
“It is such an honor to be nominated for this position,” said Minnis. “I just hope that my contribution to the committee will help make the league even better in the long run.”
