BATON ROUGE — On Monday, Nov. 22, the LSU Athletic Department and EATEL launched one of the most dynamic and interactive web sites in collegiate athletics, “LSUsports.net, The Official Web Site of LSU Athletics.”
With the secure Online Ticketing Box Office, the Online LSU Gift Center and exclusive members-only features, LSUsports.net will have something to offer for Tiger fans of all ages throughout the world 24 hours a day, seven day a week.
Along with 10-percent discounts in the soon-to-come online Gift Center, members of LSUsports.net will be privy to feature articles written by the LSU Athletics Department exclusively for LSUsports.net members.
Also, members of LSUsports.net receive a free on-site e-mail account @etigers.net and an LSU desktop theme and screen saver.
One of the most unique member features of LSUsports.net is an exclusive real-time audio and video broadcast of the most popular LSU sports events on “EATELCAST,” along with in-game chat rooms and the ability to create private chat rooms with Tiger fans across the world.
Non-members will continue to receive the most up-to-date coverage of each of LSU’s 21 varsity sports including audio broadcasts and real-time statistics when available.
Membership will be offered beginning Friday, Nov. 26. Members will have the two subscription options: $21.95 per month for membership along with EATEL’s 56k high-speed Internet access or $5.95 per month for membership without EATEL-provided 56k high-speed internet access.
Ten percent of the revenue from LSUsports.net will be contributed to LSU Athletics.
