BATON ROUGE — Just 48 hours after one of the biggest performances in LSU men’s basketball history, the Tigers must turn around and try its luck again, this time against Southeastern Louisiana Monday night at 7 p.m. in the Maravich Assembly Center.
Tickets for the contest will be in sale all day at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office and beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Maravich Assembly Center. Tickets are $10. The game will be broadcast on the College Sports Southeast regional cable network and on radio on the LSU Sports Network (Eagle 98.1 FM in Baton Rouge).
The Tigers opened the 1999-200 season with a 112-37 win over Grambling State on Saturday night. The 75-point margin was the largest ever in the Assembly Center and the second-biggest in school history.
LSU played all 13 players and all 13 scored in the contest as LSU outscored the visiting Tigers, 60-11, in the second 20 minutes, shooting 70.6 percent in the second half.
Stromile Swift scored a career high of 22 points to lead LSU, with Ronald Dupree adding 21 points and a team best eight boards. Lamont Roland came off the bench to get 20 points with Jabari Smith adding 14.
Southeastern comes into the game 1-0 after a 71-70 win over Southern University on Saturday afternoon.
