BATON ROUGE – The LSU Tiger football team practiced Tuesday for an hour and a half under sunny skies with a light rain shower to conclude the session.
The team, wearing shoulder pads and helmets, began the afternoon with special team drills, moving next into individuals. The team also concentrated on rushing and passing drills with work against the scout teams.
Interim head coach Hal Hunter said that he was pleased with the attitudes and effort that the players gave during practice.
“Practice went well. The guys were real attentive and upbeat with good enthusiasm and good effort,” said Hunter. “We are tired of practicing and ready to play the game.”
The Tigers will kickoff Friday against the Arkansas Razorbacks at 1:30 p.m. and will be televised on CBS.
