BATON ROUGE – LSU wide receiver Larry Foster has decided to reduce his academic load and concentrate on earning his college degree, a move that will change his status at the University to that of a part-time student.
Foster will not be able to return to the LSU football team due to his reduction of hours. Students must take a minimum of 12 hours of classes in order to participate in intercollegiate football and Foster’s move will reduce his hours below that 12 hour minimum.
“I fully support Larry’s decision to make graduation a priority and I commend him for making a responsible decision for his future,” said head coach Gerry DiNardo.
