BATON ROUGE — LSU basketball fans will have a chance to pick out their seats for the 1999-2000 men’s basketball season when the LSU basketball program hosts a free Open House Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Maravich Assembly Center.
All available season ticket seats will be tagged in the Assembly Center and available for purchase that night at the two-hour event from a table set up by the LSU Athletic Ticket Office. Besides tours of the LSU basketball locker rooms and the auxiliary gym, the Tiger basketball team will be on hand along with Coach John Brady who will introduce the 1999-2000 team and visit with fans about the upcoming season.
The Tigers will also participate in a short scrimmage and will be available to sign autographs. There will be free hot dogs, popcorn and soft drinks for those in attendance.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. with tours to begin at 6:15 p.m. Coach Brady will speak with the crowd at approximately 7 p.m. and the event will conclude at 8 p.m.
The Tigers begin the exhibition season on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in the Assembly Center against the Global Sports All-Stars. The first regular season men’s game is Saturday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. against Grambling State, also in the Assembly Center.
