BATON ROUGE — Head coach Greg Jones and the LSU men’s golf team travel to Knoxville, Tenn., on Monday and Tuesday for the 12th-annual Coca-Cola Tournament of Champions.
LSU will compete in a 15-team field, including four teams ranked in the top 25 of the MasterCard Intercollegiate golf rankings.
No. 19 North Florida, No. 21 Mississippi State, No. 25 Augusta State, along with last year’s defending team champion and 20th-ranked N.C. State will participate with Alabama, Florida State, Furman, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, LSU, Mississippi, South Alabama, Southeast Louisiana, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The tournament, hosted by Tennessee, will be played at the Holston Hills Country Club, a par-72 course with a yardage of 6,932.
The event will be played in 54-hole format, with 36 holes to be played on Monday, and the final 18 coming on Tuesday.
