BATON ROUGE — Hitters Bobby Barbier of Northwestern State and Clay Harris of LSU and pitcher Greg Smith of LSU were announced Tuesday as this week’s Louisiana Sports Writers Association Player of the Week honors.

Barbier and Harris tied in the voting for state hitter of the week.
