INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — LSU senior Jessica Ferguson earned an automatic berth in the NCAA Singles Championship tournament, it was announced Wednesday.

The 64-player tournament begins May 25 in Athens, Ga., after the completion of the team championships.

Ferguson, a senior from Houston, was named SEC Player of the Week twice this season as she led the Lady Tigers to an SEC Western Division Championship from the No. 1 singles position.
