Blaire Hiler is in her seventh season as Director of Volleyball Operations in 2023. In her position, she oversees all day-to-day operations of the Tiger program, including the program’s budget, practice and match schedules, compliance, team travel, equipment, and community service outreach. She also serves as the liaison to all departments that touch the volleyball program. Blaire serves as the Camp Director for Tonya Johnson Volleyball Camps.

Previously a project manager at Sam’s Club Corporate where she supported the Vice President, Hiler comes to LSU returning to volleyball. In her time there she created organizational structure in multiple business segments, managed a large budget preparing expense and travel arrangement reports and she developed strategic relationships inside and outside of the organization allowing her to work with a successful team.

Hiler was previously the Director of Volleyball Operations at the University of Arkansas. Under her former coach, Robert Pulliza, Hiler oversaw day-to-day operations of the program, managing administrative and marketing objectives for summer camps, arranging the teams travel schedule including hotels, meals and practices, mentoring incoming and current student athletes, and serving as the liaison between the volleyball team and the entire University of Arkansas Athletics Department.

A four-year starter at the University of Kentucky from 2007-10, Hiler played for Craig Skinner and established career highs during her senior campaign with 18 kills, seven blocks and 14 digs. During her playing career with the Wildcats, Hiler helped Kentucky to four NCAA Tournament appearances and was a major key in their run to the regional semifinals in 2009. She finished her college career with four all-tournament selections.

Shortly after she finished her playing career, Hiler became a Junior Olympic Volleyball Coach with Ozark Juniors in in Fayetteville Arkansas. She coached there for five season in conjunction with her roles at the University of Arkansas and Sam’s Club Corporate.

As a prep player, Hiler was a four-year letter winner at Buckeye Central High School in Ohio. She set the school record in kills her senior year recording 470 and she also set a school record in career blocks. Hiler was a three-time all-state honoree. She also played basketball where she earned all-district and all-conference distinctions.

The New Washington, Ohio native is the daughter of Jerry Hiler and Amber Christy. She has two siblings, Nate Hiler and Bryce Christy.
