Zorin Istvan

Zorin Istvan joined LSU Athletics in August 2023, serving in student-athlete development as the graduate assistant for Tiger Life. Istvan serves primarily as the graduate advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and the Black Student-Athlete Association (BSAA). He supports and serves LSU student-athletes through facets of career preparation, personal enhancement, civic engagement, and diversity and inclusion.

A native of Johnstown, Pa., Istvan was enrolled in an associate degree program at a local community college, allowing him to complete his liberal arts and sciences associate degree before graduating from high school in 2021. Istvan then attended West Virginia University and received a bachelor’s degree in sport management in May 2023.

While at WVU, Istvan interned in multiple sports roles including work with an NFL agent, with WVU football recruiting, WVU athletic marketing, athlete marketing, and was the president of the WVU sport management club. Istvan has also worked in education being a WVU student ambassador and strategic planner for his major’s college.

Istvan is currently enrolled in the MBA program with a sports business specialization and also works with LSU Football in recruiting as a graduate student assistant.
