Will Redmond
Will Redmond joined the LSU football staff in 2021 and serves as director of player personnel for the Tigers.
Redmond is charged with maintaining LSU’s recruiting board, identifying players from across the country as potential prospects. He also oversees prospect evaluations and monitoring prospects throughout the year.
Prior to LSU, Redmond served as director of recruiting at the University of Kansas for over four years. He joined the Kansas staff after three years as the director of player personnel at Middle Tennessee State University.
Redmond spent his undergraduate years at the University of Tennessee. During his time on the Knoxville campus, Redmond earned his undergraduate (2013) and graduate degrees (2015) in Sport Management while working with the university’s athletic department in multiple capacities.
Redmond got his start in college athletics in the fall of 2011 when he served as a media relations student intern. After two years with media relations, Redmond served the Tennessee football recruiting staff as an analyst overseeing the recruitment of prospects in Tennessee, Alabama and the Mid-Atlantic. In May of 2014, Redmond began working with the program’s recruiting operations division.
Redmond joined the Middle Tennessee staff after a brief stint at Western Michigan University where he served as the Broncos’ Director of Player Personnel.
Redmond is a native of Franklin, Tenn., and a graduate of Christ Presbyterian Academy where he was a four-year letterman in both football and soccer.
Redmond is married to the former Jessica Stephens of Thompson Station, Tennessee, and the couple is expecting their second child in April.
