Tim Messa

Tim Messa enters his 16th year with the LSU Athletics Department and 9th as Director of Ticket Operations.

Messa directly manages all ticket operations for men’s basketball and assists with football ticket operations. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the LSU Ticket Office, which generates more than $70 million in revenue annually.

A native of Chalmette, La., Messa started with the LSU Athletics Department in 2005 as an Assistant Ticket Manager. Prior to that he served in a similar position at the University of Oregon for 3 years. 

Messa earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education in 2001 and a master’s degree in kinesiology in 2002, both from LSU. As an LSU student he served for 3 years as a football equipment manager under the legendary Jeff Boss.

Messa and his wife Amanda are parents of two children – Wyatt and Jules.
