Sierra Nemelka Season 2026

Sierra Nemelka joined the LSU Sports Medicine Department in January 2026 as an athletic training intern working with Track & Field.

Nemelka completed her first year out of graduate school working with the Cincinnati Bengals for the 2023-24 season. After serving a year with the Bengals, she worked two years with Arizona State University serving as the athletic trainer intern for the football sports medicine department from 2024-2026. During her time with Arizona State, Nemelka went on with the team and participated in the Big 12 Championship game in 2024.

Nemelka earned her bachelor of science in exercise science degree from Schreiner University in 2021. She continued her education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center earning her master in athletic training degree in 2023.

Nemelka is certified in Foundations of Joint Manipulation, Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Graston Technique, and CPR/AED. In addition, she is an active member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association.

During her free time, Nemelka enjoys reading, hiking, and playing with her cat, Suki.
