Payton Ibos is a Louisiana native born and raised in Covington, Louisiana. She is in her first season as the assistant coach for the LSU Tiger Girls.

Payton grew up training at Northshore Academy of Dance in styles such as jazz, ballet, hip-hop, and contemporary, traveling around the world to compete and assist well-known choreographers worldwide. She graduated in May of 2019 from Louisiana State University with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor in communications.

She was a four-year member and two-year captain of the LSU Tiger Girls Dance Team and has since served as a volunteer coach to the program. In her 6 years in Baton Rouge, Payton has been a part of the team’s most successful seasons, including its bronze medal in hip hop and 4th place in jazz at the 2020 UDA College Nationals.

Payton has assumed the roles of recruitment and the LSU Tiger Girls Alumni program. Additionally, she works as a pro- choreographer for Tribe 99 Choreography.
