MyKaela Houston

MyKaela Houston joined the LSU Sports Medicine Department in June 2024 as an Athletic Training Intern working with the men’s basketball, women’s basketball and volleyball programs.

Houston earned a joint degree of a bachelor of science and master of athletic training from Baylor University in 2024.

In her time at Baylor, Houston gained experience in the field while working with the women’s soccer, football, and track & field teams. She also completed an athletic training internship with the University of Houston men’s basketball team in the summer of 2023 and an internship with the Houston Christian University women’s basketball team in the fall of 2023.
