Mike Chapman Season 2025-26
Mike Chapman continues his association with Head Coach Matt McMahon as he will serve for a third year as the Video Coordinator for the Tigers after joining the staff in April of 2022.
Chapman served four seasons on McMahon’s staff at Murray State (2018-22), serving in an operations capacity along with his video duties.
Chapman helps create scouting video and player video clips to help prepare the team for games, and helps break down practice tapes for players and the coaching staff. He has also been involved in social and information aspects of the program.
Chapman has spent time in the Southeastern Conference as a four-year student at Florida where he graduated with a degree in agricultural communications specializing in communication and leadership development.
During that time, he worked with the University of Florida football team, before spending two seasons with the men’s basketball team as an assistant video coordinator.
With his work for both basketball programs he has seen plenty of excitement on the NCAA Tournament level with a 6-4 record. The 2017 Gator basketball team advanced to the Elite Eight, the 2018 Gators along with the 2019 and 2022 Murray State teams advanced to the round of 32.
