Meghan Kalenborn
Meghan Kalenborn joined LSU Athletics in the Social Media and Branding department of The Brand in October 2025.
In her role, she contributes to the social media strategy for all LSU-sponsored sports and the department’s overall social efforts. Kalenborn oversees multiple sports social platforms and handles social operations for the Tigers’ softball and women’s golf programs, while splitting efforts on the department’s main social media account and assisting with communications duties.
Prior to her move to Baton Rouge, Kalenborn was a Communications Assistant at James Madison University where she was a contact for the Dukes’ football program, as well as the primary contact for JMU softball. During her time in Harrisonburg, Kalenborn was responsible for running all social media platforms for JMU football, including leading the social efforts for the team’s first-ever bowl victory at the Boca Raton Bowl in 2024. She also managed the day-to-day media operations of the softball program as it reached its first Sun Belt Championship game in school history.
Kalenborn started her career at UCF, where she was a three-year member of the UCF Athletics strategic communications department as a student assistant. She contributed to the department’s day-to-day and game day operations and worked mostly with the Knights’ softball, baseball, and men’s basketball programs. She also assisted with the hosting of the first NCAA Orlando Regional in school history in 2022 and spearheaded the social campaign for UCF baseball during the 2024 season.
Along with her time in strategic communications, Kalenborn was a sideline reporter for UCF Production on ESPN+ broadcasts during the 2023 season.
A native of Long Island, N.Y., Kalenborn graduated from the University of Central Florida in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in visual communication and journalism.
