Matthew LaBorde

Matthew LaBorde enters his 12th year with the LSU Athletics Department and second as Executive Associate AD/CFO in 2022-23.

LaBorde’s responsibilities include monitoring the athletics department’s $140 million budget, oversight of men’s basketball,  men’s tennis, women’s tennis and concessions operations.

A native of Baton Rouge, LaBorde began his LSU career as a Business Coordinator in December 2010 before being promoted to Business Manager in December 2014. He held that position until being promoted to Assistant Athletics Director of Business & Finance in August 2017, and then transitioned to Associate AD of Business Operations in September 2019 before becoming CFO in spring 2021.

LaBorde graduated from LSU with a bachelor of science in accounting degree in 2008 and a master’s degree in accounting in 2009.

LaBorde is married to the former Megan Gautreau, and the couple has three children – Lucas, Lillian and Myles.
